There’s a big deal football game with interesting commercials on TV tonight. I suppose you could stay home and watch it, but if you did, you’d miss the probably never going to happen again RobFest. What RobFest? It’s a celebration of the double Rob rhythm section of Rob Jost (bass) and Robert DiPietro (drums) by and with the following musicians who play with them: Tony Scherr, So Brown, Serena Jost, Joy Askew, Alyssa Graham, Michael Bellar, Ken Webb, Michelle Casillas and Norman Vladimir. A three hour good time for all is promised and I have no doubt that it will be delivered.
RobFest, The Living Room, 154 Ludlow Street between Stanton and Rivington Streets (F Train to 2nd Avenue, use the 1st Avenue exit), 7-10pm, No Cover (but a contribution for the musicians is highly encouraged)
